About this file
This document provides instructions for requesting ship access related to a federal contract solicitation. The solicitation is for the USNS HUNTER (TSV-3) Docking Phased Maintenance Availability (DPMA) being conducted by the Department of the Navy Naval Sea Systems Command. Interested offerors must submit requests for the relevant pricing and specification attachments to the contracting officers Amy Caraway and Veronica Johnson in order to respond to the solicitation. The ship access request instructions indicate that contractors without CAC credentials working on the availability at Norfolk, Virginia locations including Naval Station Norfolk and local private shipyards should note that information when submitting access requests to MARMC Industrial Security's John Johnson and Tim Hadley. The instructions also provide guidance on including ship name, command, visit date, and other pertinent information in the subject line and body of the email request to allow 1-3 days for processing.
