About this file
This file is a template for the Buy American Certificate (FAR 52.225-2), a mandatory compliance document for federal procurement. Offerors must certify whether each end product is domestic or foreign, with specific documentation requirements for each category. For domestic end products, offerors must identify any that contain critical components as defined in FAR 25.105. For foreign end products that do not consist wholly or predominantly of iron or steel, offerors must indicate whether they exceed 55 percent domestic content, with an exception for commercially available off-the-shelf (COTS) items. The certificate requires offerors to separately list line item numbers for each classification and submit the completed form as part of their offer.
This template applies to the Department of Veterans Affairs solicitation 36C25926Q0374 for beds and mattresses for the Pueblo VA Community Living Center. The RFQ deadline for questions is June 23, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. MT, and quotes must be submitted via email to Christopher.Hollingsworth2@va.gov no later than July 2, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. MT. The procurement uses NAICS code 337910 with a 1,000-employee small business size standard and is unrestricted. The government anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price contract and reserves the right to make award based solely on initial quotes received.
