Description Item Activate all flooding sensors by tipping floats or shorting probes to check for proper operation.
Are sensor cutout switches numbered and chart present? Do cutouts isolate alarms circuit as indicated on chart?
All sensors operated mannually indicate proper vessel and location on remote monitoring systems.
Are Fire/Flood sensors correctly located in respect to electrical power and water tight sub-division of a ship?
Visual and audible alarms activate when the sensor is actuated.
Each fire wire heat sensor is activated.
Each smoke detector is activated using canned smoke to ensure its proper operation.
