About this file
This document is a Peer Counselor Feedback Form related to the Breastfeeding Peer Counseling Services contract opportunity with the South Dakota Department of Health Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Program. The feedback form seeks input from peer counselors on various aspects of their job, including favorite and least favorite parts, concerns about meeting program requirements, adequacy of training and resources, recommendations for improvement, caseload, and work hours. The purpose of the Breastfeeding Peer Counseling Services contract is to manage the Breastfeeding Peer Counseling Program and provide basic breastfeeding education, support, and encouragement to WIC pregnant and/or breastfeeding mothers, primarily through electronic interactions. The goal is to increase the number of WIC mothers who breastfeed and the duration of breastfeeding.
The state is seeking offerors to provide these services and has provided instructions for submitting inquiries about the Request for Proposals (RFP). Offerors may not rely on any other statements, either written or oral, that alter the specifications or terms and conditions of the RFP. Offerors will be notified of any modifications to the RFP through the same channels as the initial posting.
