Work Order Priority Classifications
Attachment I Work Order Priority Classifications
Priority 1 Emergency Priority 2 Urgent
Response Time: 15 minutes after receipt of call during normal working hours, or 1 hour after receipt of call at all other times.
Response Time: 2 hours after receipt of call during normal working hours.
Generally, emergency calls will consist of correcting failures which constitute an immediate danger to personnel, threaten to damage property, or threaten to disrupt activity operations and/or training. All emergency conditions shall be resolved before departing the site.
Urgent conditions are those which do not immediately endanger personnel or threaten to damage property, but would soon inconvenience and affect the health or wellbeing of personnel or disrupt scheduled training.
Contractor shall work continuously to complete the work before departing the site.
Examples (but not limited to the following):
Leaking pipe Clogged drain (toilet, bathtub, floor, etc.)
Doors not closing securely Locks not locking Gates inoperable Lights at gates not operable Utility outages (i.e., power, gas, water) Gas leaks Electrical defects/hazards Roof leeks Repairs to food service equipment
Examples (but not limited to the following):
Toilets not filling Outside water leaks A/C or heat inoperative in critical areas
(i.e., classrooms, computer server areas, CAMS, etc.)
Priority 3 Routine (High) Priority 4 Routine (Low)
Response Time: Work must begin within 4 hours after receipt of the call (or by the following workday if receipt of call occurs after 12:00 Noon)
Response Time: 2 days after receipt of call during normal working hours.
Service calls will be classified as routine, high priority when work does not qualify as an emergency or urgent call.
Service calls will be classified as routine, low priority when work does not qualify as an emergency, urgent, or routine high priority call.
Examples (but not limited to the following):
Relamping Inoperative electrical switches or outlets Dripping faucets Broken glass Repairs of mechanical equipment A/C or heat inoperative in non-critical areas (i.e., administrative offices)
Examples (but not limited to the following):
Ceiling tile replacement Broken floor tile Sign fabrication Furniture repairs or assembly Installation of monitor mounts, dry erase boards, etc.
Replacing room/building numbers
Priority 5 Time Permitting
Response Time: When higher priority work does not take precedence.
Service calls will be classified as time permitting when work does not dictate a classified response time.
Examples (but not limited to the following):
Touch-up painting and decorating (e.g., hanging pictures, plaques, diplomas, etc.)
Fabrication of special components for non-mission essential activities
