About this file
This is a solicitation for environmental services issued by the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Southwest. The Navy and Marine Corps require services including operation and maintenance of government-owned facilities for processing industrial and oily wastes, hazardous waste management including spill response, and professional services for environmental compliance projects at bases in the Southwest region. The acquisition strategy is a single-award, combination firm-fixed-price and indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract for an one-year base period plus seven one-year options. Services include operating waste treatment plants and collection systems at Naval Base San Diego, Naval Base Coronado, and Naval Base Point Loma. Hazardous material, waste and regulated waste management includes collection site operations and disposal. Environmental compliance projects will be ordered on an IDIQ basis. The site code is for operation of waste treatment and storage facilities. A site visit is scheduled for August 18, 2021 at Coronado for up to two people per offeror with registration by August 16. Proposals are due by the end of the request for information period on August 31, 2021.
