About this file
This document is Attachment A with Examples, a detailed specification sheet for printing services for the City of Oklahoma City. The attachment outlines precise requirements for various printed materials including letterhead, utility "Oops" tags, memorandum preprints, envelopes, environmental/parking/traffic citations, booklets, tri-fold brochures, and an accordion/roll fold brochure. The specifications provide exacting details on paper stock, color processes, printing specifications, quantities, sizes, binding methods, and finishing requirements for each item. Examples range from a 1-page 4-color letterhead to a 52-page Fall Parks & Recreation Activities Guide, with quantities varying from 25,000 utility tags to single booklet runs.
The document specifies technical printing requirements such as paper weights (24lb bond, 100lb text gloss), color processes (4-color CMYK), bleed specifications, single or double-sided printing, and specific finishing instructions like shrink wrapping in bundles, saddleback binding, and adhesive placement. Registration is noted as critical for several items, and electronic files must be provided. Some items require specific design elements like city seals, while others have unique requirements such as carbonless multi-part forms with consecutive numbering and barcoding. The specifications suggest this is part of a comprehensive printing services solicitation that covers a wide range of municipal communication and documentation needs across various city departments.

It’s official! According to a study by Stanford University, spending time in an outdoor green space such as a park or nature area can benefit your mental and physical well-being.
We can’t help but think that’s a bonus for Oklahoma City residents. With 150 parks to enjoy throughout the city, there are plenty of places where you can learn, play and explore.
New for this fall is the Wendel Whisenhunt Sports Complex at Woodson Park. Named after former Parks & Recreation Department Director Wendel Whisenhunt, the complex packs in outdoor fun with 16 youth and adult soccer fields, an adult baseball field, basketball court, playground and concession stand.
Our Recreation Division will program the park, starting with a Fall Youth Soccer League for children in Kindergarten through 6th Grade. All league games will be played at the Whisenhunt Sports Complex.
Leagues for children and adults are also available in basketball, volleyball and “Futsal,” a new fast-action, indoor soccer sport straight from Brazil. If you’re really looking for a smashing good time, try your hand at Bubble Soccer. Played outdoors or in, it’s high-impact action with an inflatable twist.
Fitness fiends and families alike will love the new West River Trail that opened in June. The 8-mile link between the Overholser Trail and Oklahoma River Trails provides 25 miles of uninterrupted trail space for walkers, runners and cyclists between Lake Hefner and the City’s Boathouse District.
Need a nature break? The Will Rogers Gardens and Martin Park Nature Center offer plenty of seasonal outdoor beauty as well as dynamic education programs. Very soon, we’ll officially open the Jim Thorpe Hospital Courage Trail with our partners Wilderness Matters. This fully-accessible trail is opening new pathways to individuals with mobility limitations, providing them with meaningful and up-close encounters with nature, perfect for the beautiful Fall season ahead.
Inside this guide, you’ll find 256 individual programs. That’s 256 ways for everyone in the family to enjoy arts, sports, leisure activities, special interest programs, exercise, travel and after school fun. It’s enough to keep you going throughout the fall season. Come visit soon and see what OKC Parks & Recreation has to offer.
