About this file
This Statement of Work outlines court reporting services requirements for the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS). The contractor must provide court reporting services for DHHS litigation matters, specifically in the discovery process for cases involving the department. Services will be utilized on a routine basis by DHHS Central Office staff and as needed by approximately six DHHS hospitals and centers throughout the contract term. The contractor must ensure court reporters are present one hour before scheduled hearings and remain ready to proceed, with hearings potentially occurring at various locations statewide and multiple hearings potentially scheduled simultaneously. DHHS will provide at least 24 hours' notice for hearing cancellations when possible.
The contractor must perform all assigned work under the direction and control of DHHS and comply with all stated requirements without exceptions, or provide written documentation of any exceptions with a detailed description of how they will meet the requirements. The document includes a response section requiring bidders to acknowledge receipt and indicate compliance status, though specific pricing terms, contract duration, renewal options, funding sources, and award dates are not detailed in this attachment. Bidders must also complete sections identifying their company name, solicitation type and number, and provide their compliance statement in the designated bidder response box.
