About this file
This file is a self-performed work calculation template required for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) contractors bidding on the AJP-Upgrade Steam Distribution System project at the Tennessee Valley Healthcare System, VA Medical Center in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. The template is used to demonstrate compliance with subcontracting limitations under FAR 19.505, which requires SDVOSB prime contractors to perform a minimum of 15 percent of contract costs for general construction (NAICS 236220) or 25 percent for special trade construction (NAICS 237 and 238) using their own personnel.
The calculation worksheet requires contractors to break down personnel and material/equipment costs by specification division, clearly identifying work to be performed by the prime SDVOSB contractor and verified SDVOSB subcontractors separately from non-SDVOSB subcontractors. The template provides a structured format for calculating total personnel costs, subtracting non-SDVOSB subcontractor personnel costs, and determining the percentage of self-performed work. Home office overhead, profit/fee, and bond costs are added after the subtotal of personnel and material/equipment costs. The instructions specify that personnel costs include laborers, mechanics, tradesmen, and office personnel directly charged to the project such as project managers, job superintendents, administrative staff, and estimators.
