About this file
This document is an attachment containing partners and commitment letters required for the Oregon Department of Education's 2025-2027 Career and Technical Education (CTE) Revitalization Grant application. The file serves as a template and guidance document for eligible applicants—including Oregon public school districts, Education Service Districts (ESDs), and public charter schools—to demonstrate organizational partnerships and stakeholder commitment to their proposed CTE programs. Applicants must identify and secure written commitment letters from partners such as employers, community colleges, workforce development agencies, and other entities that will support the development, expansion, and enhancement of Career and Technical Education Programs of Study aligned with high-skill, high-wage, and in-demand occupations. These commitment letters are mandatory components of the electronic application submission via Smartsheet and must be included to demonstrate the viability and community support for the proposed initiatives.
The commitment letters serve as evidence of collaborative partnerships and resource commitments essential to the success of the funded CTE programs. Partners may contribute through equipment donations, facility access, curriculum development, student internship opportunities, instructor expertise, or financial support. The letters must clearly articulate each partner's specific role, contributions, and commitment timeline aligned with the grant's 2025-2027 funding period. This requirement ensures that applicants have secured tangible support from industry and educational stakeholders before funding is awarded, strengthening the likelihood of successful program implementation and sustainability beyond the grant period.

Letters should appear on the letterhead of the partner organization and should bear an electronic or “wet” signature. Emails are not acceptable.
