About this file

This document is a Scope of Services (Exhibit B) from the State of New Hampshire Department of Military Affairs and Veterans Services for the Center Strafford Site MEP Upgrades project. The project encompasses mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) improvements across the entire NHARNG Center Strafford campus, including the installation of new Building Management Systems (BMS) for centralized facility control, replacement of Roof Top Unit (HVAC) systems at Building 5 (Dining Facility), and site lighting upgrades. The scope of work encompasses multiple disciplines including site construction, demolition of existing systems, thermal and moisture protection, equipment installation, and mechanical and electrical work. The project specifications are detailed in Exhibit B-Attachment 1, with authorized construction drawings and clarification sketches provided in Exhibit B-Attachment 2, with any modifications addressed through addendums.

The contract includes two deduct alternates available to the bidder. Deduct Alternate #1 allows exclusion of rooftop-mounted photovoltaic (PV) arrays, battery storage systems, and all associated equipment and wiring at Building 12, as referenced in drawing E-101 and corresponding specifications. Deduct Alternate #2 permits exclusion of EV charging station infrastructure and conductors in the VCOT area, with stub conduit to be installed for future connection capability, as detailed in drawing E-102 and associated specifications. These alternates provide flexibility in project scope and budget management while maintaining the core MEP infrastructure upgrades across the campus.
