About this file
This is a federal certification form (FAR 52.225-2) used in government contracting to verify compliance with Buy American requirements.
The form requires offerors to certify that all end products are domestic products, unless specifically listed as exceptions. Offerors must identify any foreign end products manufactured in the United States that do not qualify as domestic products and indicate whether these items exceed 55 percent domestic content, with the exception of commercially available off-the-shelf (COTS) items. If domestic content percentage is unknown, offerors must select "no." Additionally, offerors must separately list line item numbers for domestic end products containing critical components as defined in FAR 25.105. The form includes a table for recording line item numbers, country of origin, and domestic content percentages for foreign products, as well as a separate section for identifying domestic products with critical components. Government evaluation of offers will follow Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 25 policies and procedures. The form requires signature and point of contact information from the vendor.
