DRAFT RFP for Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS) LRIP/FRP Federal contract opportunity
Solicitation number
W31P4Q-20-R-0015
Issued by
Department of the Army Materiel Command Contracting Command Redstone Arsenal

About this file

This document contains a draft request for proposal for an Integrated Battle Command System hardware low rate initial production and full rate production effort. The Army Materiel Command Contracting Command at Redstone Arsenal is seeking proposals to produce IBCS hardware end items in accordance with supplied technical data packages and critical item development specifications. Engineering changes may be required for obsolescence, new capabilities, and export considerations. The effort also requires maintaining approved software and firmware updates, cybersecurity, and authority to operate on existing hardware components, as well as engineering changes executed during the period of performance. This is a draft RFP for comment only and the government is not currently seeking proposals based on the information provided.

<-- BIG CHANGE: We can use the 60A shore power cable and still have over 30% margin. -->
UPS efficiency is assumed to be:85%(Does not include current to charge batteries)
The mast motor and ECU compressor/fan are probably 0.8pf or worse, depending on speed/load, but are assumed to be 1 for estimations as they are small compared to heating elemnts and electronic loads
Old Calculations that are hard to understand, but should still auto-update with new data:
