2
Remove two flexible air ducts, one flange assembly, one T-shaped condensation drain hose, one control cable assembly (with remote box), one power cable, and one power cable (pigtail)
3
Connect supply air duct to IECU. Do not bend or kink ducts.
4
Remove return air duct attachment cover and supply air collar attachment duct cover.
5
Install flange assembly on IECU return air by aligning then inserting locking tabs on flange assembly into return opening. Turn clockwise to fully engage locking tabs.
6
Connect return air duct to IECU flange assembly installed in Step 5
***NOTE***
To assure a continuous supply of fresh make-up air, at least ¾ of the slotted row openings should be exposed
7
Adjust fresh air inlet as needed, then secure flexible duct onto flange assembly with web belt and buckle far enough to expose open indicator
8
Connect one T-shaped condensation hose to barbed fittings at front (see Figure 4: 60K BTU/Hr IECU Deployed) and rear base of equipment
9
Make sure remote box assembly interconnecting cable is connected to electrical box connector in IECU
***CAUTION***
Make sure all items stored under the condenser fan are removed and there are no loose items inside of IECU
10
Lower top cover of the IECU
11
Lift top cover of the PDISE and ensure all circuit breakers are in the OFF position.
See Figure 5: PSIDE w/ Lid Opened
11
Connector 60A power cable from the IECU to the PDISE
See Figure 6: PDISE Connections
See
12
Lower 200A power pigtail from tongue of trailer and connect to PDISE per Figure 7: Wiring Diagram for reference

Generator Functional Check out
Step #
Operator Actions
Expected Results
Actual Results
Comments / TIR
****CAUTION****
Verify by visual inspection that all equipment has been properly grounded to ensure proper operation and prevent an electrical hazard for the equipment or operator. The generator is grounded through the ground stud on the curbside.
Verify correct wiring of IECU, PDISE, and generator before beginning See Figure 7: Wiring Diagram
1
Verify fluid levels of generator
Oil level is within the correct range and no leaks are present
2
Verify Voltage selection board is in correct Position
(1) 120/208-V 3 Phase Generator set configured for 120/208-V three-phase load
3
Place DEAD CRANK SWITCH found inside right-side door in NORMAL position
4
Turn main DC circuit breaker found inside left-side door to ON
5
Pull out EMERGENCY STOP on DCS
6
Move engine control switch to PRIME & RUN
7
Ensure voltage selection switch located inside right-side door on the output box assembly panel is positioned to match voltage requirements
120/208V, 3 Phase
8
Ensure BATTLESHORT switch is in the OFF position
9
Push PANEL LIGHTS switch to verify illumination
Panel lights should illuminate
Should be a minimum of 55%
11
Turn engine control switch to START and release
12
Verify engine control switch returns to PRIME & RUN upon release
13
Check operator main screen for proper phase, voltage, and frequency
Phase = 3 Phase
Voltage = 120/208 V Frequency = 60 Hz
14
Apply load by pushing AC CIRCUIT INTERRUPT switch on control panel
15
Verify the main screen display now shows the generator set is supply power to the load
See Figure 8: Operator Main Screen below.
16
Allow the generator to run for a minimum of 5 minutes
Generator runs without fault for 5 minutes
Figure 8: Operator Main Screen
IECU Check out
Step #
Operator Actions
Expected Results
Actual Results
Comments / TIR
***NOTE***
Verify the generator is operational and running prior to commencement
1
Make sure circuit breaker 2 is in the OFF position and remote box selector switch is OFF
2
Insert multimeter probes in Pins 1 (common), 7, and 8 in the J5 connector (located behind the diagnostic door). Set the multimeters to display the peak resistance measurement.
See Figure 9: J5 Pin Out
3
Place CB1 to ON position
***CAUTION***
IECU must be operated in vent mode first to ensure evaporator blower motor is operating. If evaporator blower motor is not operating, damage may occur.
***NOTE***
Time delay of approximately 60 seconds should be allowed for compressor to start in COOL mode Ensure pressure buildup before condenser fan turns on in COOL mode.
4
Place selector switch (Item 2) on remote box assembly (Item 1) or necessary mode of operation as follows:
COOL Mode. Evaporator blower motor, condenser fan motor, and compressor are energized, and tubular heaters are de-energized when thermostat is set to COOLER position.
See Figure 10: Temperature Settings
5
Adjust temperature control on the remote box assembly by turning the TEMPERATURE knob to COOLER
6
Record the resistance value from the multimeter in pin 8 as R1.
R1 Value
7
Use the Figure 11: Temperature Conversion Chart 1 and Figure 12: Temperature Conversion Chart 2 to transcribe R1 to a temperature value T1
T1 Value
8
Record the resistance value from the multimeter in pin 7 as R2.
R2 Value
9
Use the Figure 11: Temperature Conversion Chart 1 and Figure 12: Temperature Conversion Chart 2 to transcribe R2 to a temperature value T2
T2 Value
10
Calculate the difference between T1 and T2
Calculated difference is greater than 3°, but less than 15°.
11
Use the Temperature Gauge at the IECU exhaust to record temperature T3
T3 Value
12
Place selector switch on remote box assembly or necessary mode of operation as follows:
HEAT Mode. Evaporator blower motor and tubular heaters are energized and condenser fan motor and compressor are de-energized when thermostat is set to WARMER position.
13
Adjust temperature control on the remote box assembly by turning the TEMPERATURE knob to WARMER
14
Wait approximately 60 seconds, then use the Temperature Gauge at the IECU exhaust to record temperature T4
T4 Value
15
Calculate the difference between T3 and T4
Calculated difference is greater than 3°, but less than 15°.
16
Place selector switch on remote box assembly to OFF
17
Place circuit breaker 1 to OFF position.
