About this file

This justification document supports a brand name only procurement for four items as part of the Expand Primary Care West Minor Construction project at the Orlando VA Medical Center Lake Nona Campus. The four items are a Lenel OnGuard physical security access control system, Pelco cameras compatible with the existing CCTV system, a Rauland Borg Responder 5 nurse call system, and a Bosch Security public address paging system. These items have been standardized throughout the Orlando VAMC campus and using different brands would not be cost effective due to compatibility issues and duplication of costs. While the four items are specified as brand name only, the overall construction project procurement will be competed as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business set-aside with an estimated value between $5-10 million.
