About this file

This Statement of Work (SOW) details a security system upgrade for the 20th Security Forces Squadron at Shaw Air Force Base in South Carolina. The project involves replacing 15 interior and 10 exterior cameras strategically located in the Security Forces Building and Commercial Vehicle Inspection Area (CVIA), and integrating them into the existing V100 Integrated Base Defense Security System (IBDSS). The upgrade requires installing new cameras with network video recording capabilities that can capture and store images for 30 days, with viewability on multiple facility viewers.

The comprehensive upgrade also includes adding access control around the Security Forces Building using RAB HID Cards and replacing Intrusion Detection System (IDS) panels in multiple armory buildings. The project will upgrade panels to Windows 10 firmware, replace sensors, keypads, and duress buttons with the newest approved devices, and ensure all systems are integrated into the Security Forces Headend IDS system. Installation will follow a priority order: Main SF Armory/Building 825, CATM Armory/Alt Armory/Buildings 1843 & 1895, and CVIA/Building 1970. The government estimates a 90-day performance period for the contract, with the work to be completed in accordance with specific Air Force and national electrical standards.
