0006 Clearing and Grubbing SY Removal of all grass, shrubs, trees less than 4-inch diameter, and other vegetation from the area designated on the drawings.
Clearing and grubbing shall be identified for projects requiring clearing greater than one acre or as directed by the engineer.
0007 Tree Removal, 4-12 Inch Diameter EA Remove tree and stump. This line item shall be used for any tree between 4-12-inches in diameter.
0008 Tree Removal, 12+-24 Inch Diameter EA Remove tree and stump. This line item shall be used for any tree between 12+-24-inches in diameter.
0009 Tree Removal, 24+ Inch Diameter or Greater EA Remove tree and stump. This line item shall be used for any tree greater than 24+-inches in diameter.
0010 Strip and Stockpile Existing Topsoil CY
Remove and stockpile top layer of soil. Stockpile shall be located adjacent to but outside the area of construction so that it is readily accessible to be used on the project site or hauled away if necessary. Approximate average depth of topsoil will need to be determined prior to determination of quantity for this line item. Top soil strip and stock pile shall be identified for projects requiring clearing greater than one acre or as directed by the engineer.
0011 Concrete Pavement Removal, 6 inch Depth or Less SY Remove and dispose of concrete pavement up to 6 inches in depth.
0012 Concrete Pavement Removal, additional inch SY This line item shall be used only when CLIN 0009 is used for pavements greater than 6-inches in depth. (EX: for 8-inch thick pavement, enter the total area in CLIN 0009 and enter twice that amount on CLIN 0010.)
Reinforced Concrete Pavement Removal, 8 inch Depth or Less SY Remove and dispose of concrete pavement, mesh or rebarreinforced, up to 8 inches in depth.
0014 Sidewalk Removal SF Remove concrete sidewalk pavement.
0015 Concrete Valley Pan Removal SY Remove concrete valley pan. This may require asphalt pavement saw cutting and removal if adjacent to pavement that is to remain in place. If so, asphalt removal will be accounted for under CLIN 0020 and if necessary, CLIN 0021.
0016 Concrete Curb & Gutter Removal LF Remove concrete curb and gutter. This may require asphalt pavement saw cutting and removal if adjacent to pavement that is to remain in place. If so, asphalt removal will be accounted for under CLIN 0020 and if necessary, CLIN 0021.
0017 AT/FP 18 Inch Curb Removal LF Remove concrete AT/FP curb. This may require asphalt pavement saw cutting and removal if adjacent to pavement that is to remain in place. If so, asphalt removal will be accounted for under CLIN 0020 and if necessary, CLIN 0021.
0018 Concrete Header Curb Removal LF Remove concrete header curb. This may require asphalt pavement saw cutting and removal if adjacent to pavement that is to remain in place. If so, asphalt removal will be accounted for under CLIN 0020 and if necessary, CLIN 0021.
0019 Bituminous Milling, 1 to 3 inches, dispose on base SY Mill pavement to a depth up to 3-inches. Place millings in a location on base determined by the contracting officer. Use a correct sized milling machine for each milling operation.
0020 Bituminous Milling, 1 to 3 inches, dispose off base SY Mill pavement to a depth up to 3-inches. Place millings in a location off base. Use a correct sized milling machine for each milling operation.
0021 Bituminous Milling, Additional Inch SY
This line item shall be used only when either CLIN 0017 or 0018 is used for milling greater than 3-inches in depth. (EX:
When 4-inches of milling is called for the desired area will be entered in CLIN 0017 and then that same quantity entered in
CLIN 0019.)
0022 Bituminous Milling and Fill On Site SY Mill pavement up to 4 inches and use that material to fill areas identified in the drawings or SOW. Compact fill in accordance with specifications and drawings whichever is more stringent.
0023 Bituminous Pavement Removal, 6 Inch Depth or Less SY Remove bituminous pavement up to and including 6 inches in depth. Haul away and dispose of rubble off base.
0024 Bituminous Pavement Removal, Additional Inch SY
This line item shall be used only when CLIN 0021 is used for bituminous pavement removal greater than 6-inches in depth.
(EX: When 9-inches of asphalt pavement must be removed, the desired area will be entered in CLIN 0021 and then three times that same quantity entered in CLIN 0022.)
0025 Sign Removal EA Remove a standard road sign and dispose of material off-base. This will typically include the sign and post that is encased in a small amount of concrete below grade. The sign might also be turned over to 90 CES as directed by the contracting officer.
0026 Remove Fence LF Demolish 6 foot high chain-link fence and components. Dispose of material off-base, fill and compact holes per WYDOT Standard Specifications.
0027 Drainage Pipe Removal, 18 Inch Diameter or Less LF Remove drainage pipe up to and including 18-inch inside diameter and dispose of material off-base. Excavation is included in the pay item.
0028 Drainage Pipe Removal, Greater than 18 Inch Diameter LF Remove drainage pipe over 18-inch inside diameter and dispose of material off-base. Excavation is included in the pay item.
0029 Drainage Structure Removal, 4 Foot Depth or Less EA Remove a drainage structure such as a manhole, inlet or catch basin and dispose of properly off-base. Typically these will be concrete but occasionally other materials are encountered. Excavation is included in the pay item.
0030 Drainage Structure Removal, Additional Foot EA
This line item shall be used only when CLIN 0027 is used for removing a drainage structure over 4-feet in depth. (EX: When removing a manhole that is 7 feet deep, a quantity of 1 will be entered for CLIN 0027 and a quantity of 3 will be entered for
CLIN 0028.)
0031 Abandonment of HTHW LF
This line item shall include the removal and disposal of the 6-inch concrete lid on the High temperature hot water trench. The ends of the trench will be sealed with a concrete mix while the middle is filled with flow fill, leaving the pipe intact as a conduit for future utility lines.
0032 Removal of HTHW LF This includes partial or full removal of HTHW trench to a depth sufficient to suppport new construction. Work includes removal of concrete, pipe and to seal the ends with concrete.
0033 Excavation and Export Material CY Excavate earthen material other than solid bedrock and export material to a location off-base.
0034 Excavation and Fill on Site CY Excavate earthen material other than solid bedrock and use that material to fill areas identified in the drawings or SOW.
Compact fill in accordance with specifications and drawings whichever is more stringent.
0035 Borrow, Select Material CY Imported fill material in accordance with Section 803.10 including hauling and spreading. Provide select material in accordance with specifications or as approved by the engineer.
0036 Soft-Spot Repair CY
Excavate earthen material other than solid bedrock and export material to a location off-base. Place and compact recycled aggregate. Subgrade fill shall meet Section 803.10 or Grading J in accordance with current WYDOT Specs. Provide aggregate base that meets Grading W in accordance with current WYDOT Specs. Material submittal will include Gradation per ASTM C 136, Soils Classification per ASTM D 2487, Atterburg Limits per ASTM D 4318-10, Modified Proctor per ASTM D 1557.
0037 Backfill for Drainage Pipe and Structures CY Use existing materials if approved for backfill and place per Section 204.
0038 Import and Spread Topsoil CY Import suitable topsoil in accordance with the specifications, drawings or SOW. Spread to the depth identified on the drawings or in the SOW (6 inches if not specified). Finish grade to a smooth surface suitable for seed or sod.
0039 Spread Stockpiled Topsoil CY Spread topsoil that may have been stockpiled under CLIN 0008 to the depth identified on the drawings or in the SOW (6 inches if not specified). Finish grade to a smooth surface suitable for seed or sod.
0040 Fertilizing SY Provide and spread fertilizer to promote seed and sod growth.
0041 Seeding SY Provide and spread grass seed of the appropriate mixture (prairie grass, buffalo grass, or bluegrass as indicated in the SOW or on the drawings). Apply at the rate specified for each mixture.
0042 Sodding SY Provide and install sod of the appropriate type (buffalo grass or bluegrass as indicated in the SOW or on the drawings).
0043 Soil Stabalization SY
The process in which soil is mechanically excavated to a depth of 12", mixed with a stabilizing material, moisture brought to an optimum, then consolidated and compaction of all the combined materials to the compaction requirement. Finish grade shall be per the original plan and included.
0044 Geotextile Fabric SY Provide geotextile in accordance with WYDOT Standard Specifications and the manufacturer's installation instructions as specified on drawings.
0045 Flowable Fill CY Provide Flowable fill in accordance to WYDOT 2010 Standard Specification section 206.4.5
0046 Culvert Cleaning EA Remove, haul, and dispose of debris, silt, and obstructions from culverts. Unplug and flush clean as directed by the engineer.
0047 Aggregate Base, 6 Inch, Virgin Aggregate SY
Place and compact virgin aggregate base course up to 6 inches in depth. Provide aggregate base that meets Grading W in accordance with current Wyoming DOT Specs. Material submittal will include Gradation per ASTM C 136, Soils Classification per ASTM D 2487, Atterburg Limits per ASTM D 4318-10, Modified Proctor per ASTM D 1557.
0048 Aggregate Base, Additional Inch, Virgin Aggregate SY
This line item shall be used only when CLIN 0044 is used for aggregate base greater than 6-inches in depth. (EX: When 8-inches of aggregate base is called for, the desired area will be entered in CLIN 0044 and then double that quantity entered in

0049 Aggregate Base, 6 Inch, Recycled Aggregate SY
Place and compact recycled aggregate base course up to 6 inches in depth. Provide aggregate base that meets Grading W in accordance with current Wyoming DOT Specs. 0051 Riprap, Virgin Aggregate CY Place virgin riprap material at the locations identified on the drawings. Use d50=12 inch riprap unless otherwise specified.

0053 Asphalt Leveling Course, 2 Inch, Virgin Aggregate SY
Place a 2-inch lift of Asphalt leveling course (virgin aggregate) in accordance with current Wyoming DOT specifications.
Include all work necessary for placing asphalt adjacent to other structures such as concrete curb and gutter, existing asphalt, or in rare cases building foundations. Material submittal will include a PG 64-28 mix design that is current in the last year, 1.5% lime, 3/4 inch aggregate, meet Marshall 50 blow count, meet In Place Density of 95% compaction of void less unit weight and include proposed rolling compaction equipment. Central Ave. and Missile Dr. (truck routes) will require an additional PG 64- 28 mix design that is current in last year, 1.5% lime, 3/4 inch aggregate, and meets a Marshall 75 blow count.

0061 Crack Sealing LF
Provide Modified 324 Type 4 joint sealant in accordance with current Wyoming DOT specifications. Properly prepare the crack for application of sealant and apply sealant in accordance with Wyoming DOT specifications and manufacturer's instructions.
0062 Tack Coat SY Provide approved tack coat material and apply in accordance with the specifications between all asphalt pavement lifts.
0063 Chip Seal SY Provide all material and equipment to place an aggregate chip seal.
0064 Fog Seal SY Provide all material and equipment to place a fog seal.
0065 Slurry Seal SY Provide a Type II slurry seal with 10-15 lbs. aggregate per square yard that meets the current specifications of the Asphalt Handbook by the Asphalt Institute.
0066 Microsurfacing SY Provide this product per Section 410 Microsurfacing 2010 Wydot Standard Specifications.
0067 Pavement Patching SY Saw cut sides to 90 degree faces, remove material down to subgrade and dispose of off-base, compact subgrade, provide and compact aggregate base and bituminous pavement.
0068 Milled Surface Patching SY Provide a bituminous pavement patch over a milled surface.
0069 Concrete Pavement, Doweled and Barred, 6 Inch SY Provide and place concrete pavement doweled and barred in accordance with WYDOT Standard Plans. Concrete mix shall be in accordance with the contract specifications.
0070 Concrete Pavement, Plain, 6 Inch SY Provide and place unreinforced concrete pavement in accordance with WYDOT Standard Plans. Concrete mix shall be in accordance with the contract specifications.
0071 Concrete Pavement, Additional Inch SY
This line item shall be used only when CLINs 0066 or 0067 are used for concrete pavement greater than 6-inches in depth.
(EX: When 8-inches of concrete is called for, the desired area/quantity will be entered in CLIN 0066 or 0067 and then double that quantity entered in CLIN 0068.)
0072 Concrete Pavement, Minor, 6 Inch SY Driveways or other paving areas, generally 50 SY or under.
0073 Concrete Patch/Tie-in, Doweled and Barred, 6 Inch SY
Provide a full depth doweled and barred concrete patch with new aggregate base and concrete. Use this line item for existing concrete areas smaller than one full slab (joint to joint) and not exceeding 20' in any direction. This would include areas where new concrete is tieing in to existing where dowels will be drilled and set into existing concrete.
0074 Concrete Patch, Plain, 6 Inch SY Provide a full depth unreinforced concrete patch with new aggregate and concrete. Use this line item for existing concrete areas smaller than one full slab (joint to joint) and not exceeding 20' in any direction.
0075 Concrete Patch, Additional Inch SY
This line item shall be used only when CLINs 0070 or 0071 are used for concrete pavement patches greater than 6-inches in depth. (EX: When 8-inches of concrete is called for, the desired area/quantity will be entered in CLIN 0070 or 0071 and then double that quantity entered in CLIN 0072.)
0076 Spall Repair SF Per specs or used bonding material that meets WYDOT Standard Specs.
0077 Paving Fabric SY Section 411 Paving Fabric in the Wydot Standard Specs.
0078 12 Inch RCP LF Install Reinforced Concrete Pipe at the required depth using bedding material that meets Section 601. Excavation of the trench will be per Section 203 and Backfill above the pipe will be per Section 204.
