About this file
This document provides instructions for completing a workload analysis form in response to a solicitation for the procurement of Multi-Engine Training System aircraft. The Naval Air Systems Command solicitation seeks a single firm fixed price contract to replace the T-44C aircraft currently used for naval aviator training. Offerors must analyze inspection and maintenance requirements for a 30-year aircraft service life based on usage metrics of 600 annual flight hours, 660 annual engine operating hours, and 1,500 annual landings. The workload analysis form requires offerors to list scheduled inspection types including flight hour, calendar, cycle, equipment, flightline, conditional, and depot inspections. For each inspection type, offerors must provide the total occurrences, elapsed maintenance time, and maintenance man-hours over a 30-year period for a single aircraft. In addition, offerors must specify the fuel consumption per hour for the mission profiles in the performance specification. Proposals are due by March 16, 2022 with contract award anticipated in the first quarter of fiscal year 2023.
