This is a fillable application form for the Pathways to Multilingualism Grants program administered by the Oregon Department of Education and Workforce (RFA S-58100-00017094). Eligible applicants are Oregon public school districts seeking to strengthen dual language education programs and tribal language revitalization initiatives. The application deadline is July 8, 2026, at 3:00 PM via OregonBuys, with award notifications anticipated by July 24, 2026. The performance period for funded grants runs from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027. A pre-application conference is scheduled for June 15, 2026, at 1:00 PM (Pacific Time), with questions due by June 24, 2026, at 3:00 PM. The program anticipates awarding up to 41 grants of $50,000 each, totaling approximately $2.05 million. Grant funds support biliteracy professional development and training, high-quality instructional materials for dual language and tribal language curriculum implementation, program planning or expansion of dual language initiatives, and tribal language revitalization efforts. Allowable costs include educator professional learning, instructional materials and assessment tools, supplemental staffing support such as extra planning time and stipends, and family and community engagement initiatives. Administrative and indirect costs are allowable up to 10 percent of the award. Rural Remote school districts—defined as territories more than 25 miles from urban areas with 50,000+ population—are eligible for up to 10 priority points. All deliverables must be provided and implemented during the one-year performance period; applicants may not prepay for goods or services extending into future bienniums.
