About this file

This document contains an appendix outlining maintenance requirements for shelters and a related federal contract opportunity. The appendix provides inspection checklists and maintenance procedures for shelter components including baseplates, roll-up doors, personnel doors, fabric panels, electrical systems, and optional systems. Inspections are recommended at various frequencies from monthly to every six months. The procedures focus on identifying damage, wear, and safety concerns before addressing corrective actions.

The related federal contract opportunity is a solicitation from the Department of the Air Force Air Mobility Command to provide preventative maintenance, inspection, and repair services for Army Field Support Battalion facilities. The solicitation seeks maintenance of shelters and other structures to support readiness. Details on response dates, pricing terms, or incumbent are not provided.
