About this file

This file is a General Response Workbook (Appendix A) for a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the University System of New Hampshire (USNH) on behalf of the University of New Hampshire (UNH) for the installation and activation of a networked lockset system and supporting infrastructure for the SERC residence halls. The workbook serves as the standardized response template for interested vendors and contains three primary sections: General Information (Section A), Financial and Products Questions (Section B), and Customer Services Questions (Section C). Prospective vendors must provide detailed responses addressing business information, service capabilities, references, subcontractor utilization, and proof of good standing with the State of New Hampshire.

The workbook establishes specific requirements for vendor qualifications and operational capabilities, including mandatory acceptance of Net 30 payment terms and e-invoicing capabilities through a punchout catalog system. Vendors must demonstrate relevant experience through three client references preferably from higher education institutions, disclose any mergers or acquisitions within the past ten years, and provide current financial statements if requested. The vendor selected must establish a dedicated account management team, commit to attending business review meetings, provide comprehensive reporting within ten business days of request, and adhere to strict warranty and return policies including hassle-free returns without restocking fees for damaged, incorrectly shipped, or customer service error items. Additionally, vendors are required to submit implementation plans with timelines and resources, demonstrate cost savings strategies, and confirm ability to manage warranty issues for both hardware and services with contact information for warranty support.
