About this file
This document is the Scope of Services Appendix 6 from the State of Illinois regarding Contractor Selection and Notification Tasks for the Vehicle Emissions Inspection and Maintenance Program. The contractor will receive vehicle registration records from the Secretary of State (SOS), determine vehicle eligibility for testing, assign test eligibility dates, generate notification lists, send enforcement files and test notices to the SOS and vehicle owners. This includes both vehicles with existing registrations as well as new/changed ownership registrations. The contractor will also send EPA compliance records to the SOS upon successful vehicle emissions tests.
The related state and local contract opportunity is for the implementation and operation of the motor vehicle emissions inspection and maintenance program in Illinois, as authorized by the Vehicle Emissions Inspection Law of 2005. The Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA) is soliciting proposals from qualified offerors. Submissions must be made electronically per the agency's notice on electronic submissions. No paper responses will be accepted.
