About this file
This document is the Scope of Services Appendix 5 - Required Elements for the motor vehicle emissions inspection and maintenance program solicitation issued by the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA). The appendix outlines the detailed data elements and tables that must be maintained within the Vehicle Inspection Database (VID) as part of the emissions testing program, including vehicle, vehicle owner, test, transaction, notification, IEPA compliance records, inspector certification, and repairs data. The program is authorized by the Vehicle Emissions Inspection Law of 2005 in the state of Illinois.
The solicitation seeks a qualified contractor to implement and operate the emissions inspection and maintenance program. The contract duration and any renewal options are not specified in the provided information. Pricing terms, set asides, funding sources, and other financial details are also not included in this appendix. The appendix focuses solely on the technical and data requirements for the VID that the selected contractor must meet.
