About this file
This document is a Utility Work Schedule (UWS) for Pinellas County's Countywide Mast Arm Signal Hardening and Intersection Improvement project at the intersection of E Tarpon Ave and US 19, involving multiple utility agencies including Duke Distribution, Frontier, and WOW! (Wide Open West). The project is part of a larger infrastructure improvement initiative that includes replacing existing signalization with mast arms at seven intersections, with minor roadway improvements and ADA guideline compliance. The utility work schedules indicate zero estimated calendar days for non-construction and construction items, suggesting the utilities will maintain existing facilities in place during the project duration.
The project is federally funded through the Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA) and administered by Pinellas County. Each utility agency has provided detailed contact information and special conditions, with WOW! noting their working days are during normal business hours (Monday-Friday, 7:30 am - 5:00 pm) and that they do not anticipate any prior to or during construction work at this time. Duke Distribution has overhead and underground 12.47kV distribution facilities along the right-of-way that will remain in service throughout the project. The utility work schedules serve as a coordination mechanism to ensure utility facilities are protected and service continuity is maintained during the county's infrastructure improvements.
