Summary of Addendum No. 3 – Revised Scope of Work for Variable Frequency Drives and Motors
This is an Addendum to a Request for Quote (RFQ 26-015-JG) issued by the Kissimmee Utility Authority (KUA) in Florida for the purchase of three Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) and associated motors. The project involves the installation of VFD systems on three chilled water air handlers on a fixed-price basis. The work scope includes removal of old variable inlet valves, installation of new static pressure sensors as needed, installation of new motors and fan/blower sheaves, and cleaning of fans and blowers. All work must be performed during non-business hours (outside M-F, 7 AM to 6 PM) to avoid operational disruptions. The motor specifications total three units: two 7.5 HP, three-phase, 460V motors with Frame size S213T, and one 15 HP, three-phase, 460V motor with Frame size S254T.
Kissimmee Utility Authority will accept any brand of Variable Frequency Drives and motors, though Yaskawa is the preferred manufacturer. The procurement is structured as a competitive quotes process with a fixed-price award mechanism. No information regarding response dates, award dates, contract term, pricing terms, or funding sources is provided in this Addendum document.
