About this file
Addendum No. 02 is issued by the Florida Department of Management Services (DMS) for Invitation to Bid (ITB) No. DMS-24/25-265, modifying the original solicitation for Water Based Fire Protection System Testing, Inspections, Maintenance, and Repair Services. The addendum updates key timeline events, including shifting the solicitation posting date to 04/10/2025, extending the mandatory site visit period from 04/10/2025 to 05/21/2025, adjusting the deadline for bidder questions to 05/22/2025, and revising the bid submission and public opening dates to 06/06/2025. The emergency service response time requirement remains unchanged, stipulating that the contractor's employee must be on-site within three hours of an emergency service request.
The addendum primarily focuses on updating the procurement timeline and maintaining the original scope of services, which involves comprehensive fire protection system testing and maintenance across Regions 3 and 4 in Florida. The anticipated contract start date remains 08/01/2025, with the initial contract term expected to run from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2030, potentially including a five-year renewal option. The document does not introduce new pricing terms or modify the existing evaluation criteria, which were originally based on the lowest total price for each region. The amendment ensures that all other provisions of the original Statement of Work remain unchanged and in full force and effect.
