About this file

This document is Addendum No. 3 for a Centralized Request for Quote (CRFQ) issued by the West Virginia Department of Administration Purchasing Division for the Parkersburg Armory Boiler(s) Replacement project. The solicitation (CRFQ 0603 ADJ2500000034) seeks a contractor to provide labor, materials, and associated costs to remove and dispose of existing boilers and install two new boilers at the Parkersburg National Guard Armory. The bid opening is scheduled for May 6, 2025, at 1:30 pm EST, and a mandatory pre-bid meeting was held on April 17, 2025.

The addendum provides responses to 19 technical questions from potential bidders, clarifying specific project requirements such as expansion tank specifications, air compressor upgrades, air dryer needs, and acceptable piping and flue modifications. Key technical details include the requirement for a water tube boiler design, a 125-gallon expansion tank with a housekeeping pad, a 5HP, 80-gallon air compressor, a refrigerant air dryer, and a new air separator. The roof above the mechanical room is still under warranty from Firestone, and Victaulic fittings are acceptable for piping. The document maintains the original bid timeline and does not modify any other aspects of the original solicitation.
