About this file
This is Addendum #2 to RFP 2026-30 issued by the District Board of Trustees of Valencia College, Florida on March 30, 2026, revising vendor minimum qualifications and related proposal requirements for HVAC Preventative Maintenance, Service and Repairs. The addendum clarifies mandatory qualifications for prospective respondents, including active Florida Certified Mechanical Contractor status, current Business Tax Receipt, five years of continuous HVAC service experience, and current Liebert Service Provider Network (LSPN) certification for a minimum of three years with maintenance throughout the contract term. Proposers utilizing sub-contractors must provide the sub-contractor's business name, mailing address, and telephone number in their submission. The addendum revises Section 1.2 (Vendor Minimum Qualifications), Section 2.B (Liebert Quarterly and Annual Preventative Maintenance Scope of Work), and Section 3.2 (Proposal Submittal Layout - Tab D: Liebert-Specific Experience & Technical Capability). Tab D requirements now emphasize demonstrated experience servicing Liebert or equivalent mission-critical cooling systems, manufacturer-authorized training and certifications, and experience supporting data centers or critical environments in higher education institutions. Failure to acknowledge receipt of this addendum in the proposal submittal may result in disqualification.
The addendum does not introduce new pricing terms, set-asides, or funding requirements but reinforces existing contractual provisions. All other terms, conditions, and specifications of the original RFP 2026-30 solicitation remain unchanged. The revisions emphasize strengthened Liebert service provider requirements across all sections of the vendor qualifications and proposal evaluation criteria, ensuring that selected contractors possess specialized expertise in mission-critical cooling systems specific to higher education data center environments.
