About this file
This is an addendum issued by the County of Santa Clara to Invitation to Bid (ITB-PRC-FY26-0567) for dried fruits and nuts procurement for the Department of Correction - Food Services. The addendum updates two key documents: the "Specifications and Requirements - Dried Fruits and Nuts" and the "Bid Response Form for Dried Fruits and Nuts," with all changes highlighted in yellow. Specifically, the addendum revises three line items to require 150 individual 1.5-ounce packets per case for dried raisins, dried cranberries, and dried tropical fruit mix blend. The contract is expected to be awarded and executed in February 2026, with no established timeline for the first purchase order issuance. This is a single-award contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Bids must be submitted through Biddingo, and the ITB closing date and time remain unchanged from the original solicitation.
The addendum addresses eight questions from potential bidders and clarifies key procurement requirements. Notably, vendors may not propose alternative case sizes or packaging configurations—each case must contain exactly 150 individual 1.5-ounce packets as specified. Apples included in the tropical fruit mix blend do not require domestic sourcing. The lowest-priced bidder will be onboarded into the County of Santa Clara's Ariba Procure-to-Pay system following award announcement. No alternatives to the specifications will be accepted. In the event of any conflict between the original solicitation and this addendum, the addendum prevails, while all other specifications, terms, and conditions of the original ITB remain unchanged.
