About this file
This document is Addendum #1 issued by the Oakland County Water Resources Commissioner for the Walnut Lake No. 1 Pump Station Conveyance Correction Action Plan Phase 2 project located in Southfield, Michigan, dated June 2, 2025. The addendum modifies several key aspects of the original bidding documents, including extending the deadline for bidder questions to 3:00 pm on Monday, June 16, 2025, and adding geotechnical and historical reference documents to the Supplementary Conditions. The addendum also changes the Bid Form, specifically replacing the "Access Shaft Chemical Grouting" line item with "Access Shaft Exterior Soil Stabilization" and expanding the scope of investigation for access structures to include two 4-inch diameter concrete cores at each proposed penetration.
The addendum updates the measurement and payment section to reflect the changes in the bid items, with the new Bid Item 5B allowance to be used for soil stabilization activities identified during the investigation efforts. Additionally, the document includes updates to state requirements in Appendix A and B, replacing sections related to domestic preference, telecommunications equipment prohibitions, Davis-Bacon wages, labor standards, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise requirements, and certification regarding debarment with updated documents from the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE). The modifications aim to provide more detailed information and clarify the project requirements for potential bidders.
