About this file
This document is a Measurement and Payment section (Section 01 22 00) for the OCWRC FKE EFSD Outlet Siphon project, involving the Oakland County Water Resources Commissioner (OCWRC) and associated contractors. The document details 36 distinct bid items covering a comprehensive range of project activities, including precondition video recording, soil erosion and sedimentation control, maintenance of traffic for Southfield Freeway and 8 Mile Road, site restoration, sewer infrastructure modifications, access structure investigations, demolition work, sewer cleaning, and various specialized technical services. The bid items encompass tasks such as hand-mining new sewer tunnels, installing Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer Mortar Pipe (GFRPMP), constructing new manholes, abandoning existing sewers, and implementing electrical and telemetry systems.
The document provides detailed pricing guidelines, emphasizing lump sum and unit price bid items with specific compensation structures. Notable pricing elements include allowances for permits, flow control management, and specialized services from subcontractors like ICS Integration Services LLC and PCI LLC for telemetry integration. The contract includes provisions for mobilization (capped at 5% of contract value), bonds and insurance (capped at 1%), and a warranty inspection one year after substantial project completion. Additional financial considerations include a wet weather/maintenance day estimate and an allowance for DTE Energy electrical panel relocation. The comprehensive pricing approach ensures full compensation for labor, materials, equipment, and incidental items across the various project components.
