ADDENDUM NO. 1 TO ALL OFFERORS:

Reference – Request for Unsealed Bid: IFB #:25AML08, Pepperhill Road Drainage Commodity: 96273

Dated: December 11, 2024 Unsealed Bids Due: See Below

The above is hereby adding additional information with the following question/answers:

1. What is the expectation of the slope repair? Any reshaping work expected?

No slope repair. We just need to secure existing slope with erosion control blanket and supplement around the Slide Area with aggregate at the discretion of the onsite inspector. The only excavation at the Slide Area will be digging the anchor trench for the erosion control blanket.

2. Are the profile drawings existing grade, or expected grade?

Profile drawings depict the existing grade.

3. Where is the onsite disposal area?

Disposal area for excavated material will likely be against the Highwall near the north of the project area.

Exact placement will be determined by on site inspector. (See image below)

4. Unsealed bids are now due on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at 2pm.

Note: A signed acknowledgment of this addendum must be received at the location indicated on the Unsealed IFB either prior to the bid due date and hour or attached to your bid. Signature on this addendum does not substitute for your signature on the original bid document. The original bid document must be signed.

Sincerely, Jillian Bullock AML Contracting Officer Phone: 276-455-6979
