About this file

This document is an Addendum 1 to a Request for Quote (RFQ 250049C001) issued by the Oregon Military Department's Joint Force Headquarters, Installations Division for Camp Withycombe Security Gate Enhancements. The addendum provides clarifications and responses to bidder questions regarding security gate improvements, including specifications for a barrier arm, remote activation, and a pedestrian gate. The document outlines specific technical requirements such as providing a 10' or optional 20' HySecurity Strong Arm barrier arm, installing open and close control buttons in the guard shack, and creating a small equipment pad for the barrier arm installation.

The addendum includes two unit price options: Unit price #1 offers a 20' center yoke aluminum barrier arm as an alternative to the base 10' design, with pricing to reflect the equipment differences, and Unit price #2 involves installing a lockable pedestrian gate matching the existing security fence's height, style, and color. Bidders are instructed to coordinate the pedestrian gate's final location with the owner. The document provides technical specifics on installation methods, such as using 14" rebar spikes to attach the equipment pad to asphalt, and requires remote operation capabilities for the barrier arm, with control buttons to be placed in the guard shack counter.
