About this file

The document provided is an Ordering Data Sheet for a Nine Nuclide Gamma Calibration Source in the form of a 500 ml solid epoxy matrix. The source contains a mixture of nine different radioactive nuclides with specific activity ratios and a total activity of 3.0 microcuries (-15%, +0%). The vendor must ensure the source activity is less than the exempt quantity per 10 CFR 30 regulations. The source must be NIST-traceable, with a Certificate of Calibration provided that documents the nuclide activities, gamma emission rates, uncertainties, and other technical specifications. The source is to be shipped to the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & IMF Detachment in San Diego, California, with prior notification to the designated Point of Contact.

The related federal contract opportunity is a Pre-Solicitation for a Radioactive Source, issued by the Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command. Interested parties are invited to contact the Contracting Officer to receive the forthcoming solicitation. No other details about the procurement, such as response dates, award dates, or set-asides, are provided in the information given.
