About this file

This is a Scope of Work document for a County procurement involving the installation and commissioning of an air compressor system. The vendor must furnish and install a compressor unit by August 17, 2026, including mechanical assembly, connection to the existing compressed air distribution header, condensate drain line connections, and verification of all safety devices and controls. The scope encompasses factory-authorized startup and commissioning with documentation submitted within five business days of completion, operator and maintenance training for a minimum of two hours conducted by the vendor's factory-authorized technician, and delivery via lift-gate equipped truck with offloading and staging at the installation site. A critical requirement stipulates that all components must pass through a 46-inch wide doorframe without structural building modifications. The vendor must provide certified weight data at least ten business days prior to delivery and coordinate delivery access with the County five business days in advance.

The pricing structure includes all costs consolidated into a single line item covering the system, installation, training, and warranty. The vendor is responsible for all labor, tools, rigging, incidental materials, required permits, licenses, and calibration with certificates provided to the County. The County retains responsibility for electrical rough-in (conduit, disconnect, and branch circuit wiring), compressed air distribution piping beyond the outlet connection, and provision of a level, reinforced concrete or structural floor adequate for the unit weight. Warranty coverage includes 24 months for the compressor pump from acceptance and 12 months of parts and labor for the overall system. An optional extended warranty coverage for years one through five is available at an additional rate to be specified by the vendor.
