About this file

This is a Buy America Certification form for the Alton Driver Relief Facility project, a federally funded construction initiative administered by the Madison County Mass Transit District in Illinois. The form requires bidders to certify their compliance or non-compliance with Buy America requirements under 49 U.S.C. 5323(j)(1) and 49 CFR part 661 regarding the procurement of iron, steel, and manufactured products. Each bidder must complete and submit only one of two certification options: either a Certificate of Compliance affirming adherence to Buy America requirements, or a Certificate of Non-Compliance indicating potential qualification for an exception under 49 U.S.C. 5323(j)(2) and applicable regulations in 49 CFR 661.7. The certification must be signed by an authorized representative and include the bidder's company name, signatory name, title, and date.

The Alton Driver Relief Facility project involves construction of an 872-square-foot building addition to an existing facility located at 600 Piasa St., Alton, Illinois. The scope encompasses site improvements including new parking stalls, patio modifications, and a concrete ramp, along with access control and video surveillance systems for the new addition and adjacent bus station structure. As a federally funded project, all procured iron, steel, and manufactured products must comply with Buy America requirements unless the bidder qualifies for a documented exception. No specific pricing, contract term, or award date information is contained in this certification document.
