About this file
This is a Price Schedule for a Pump and Motor Repair Services contract (Project 269.2026.183) with the City of Charlotte, North Carolina. The contract requires the vendor to provide comprehensive pump and motor repair services for the City's portfolio of approximately 180 buildings, including offices, fire stations, police division offices, equipment shops, and cultural facilities. Services are limited to alternating current (AC) three-phase low voltage motors rated at 600 volts or less, including close-coupled pump units. The vendor must supply all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and transportation necessary to complete repairs as directed by the City's Project Manager. The initial contract term is three years, with the City holding an option to renew for a single additional two-year term. Individual task orders are not anticipated to exceed $50,000 each.
All pricing must be submitted in United States dollars and presented as all-inclusive rates covering every aspect of the project. The Price Schedule requires hourly rate pricing for motor repair services across three service categories: regular hours (Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM), after-hours (any hours outside regular business hours), and holiday hours (City-observed holidays). Vendors must provide rates for Year 1, Year 2, and Year 3 across service categories including winding, machining, vibration testing, and troubleshooting. Additional pricing must be provided for field vibration analysis, equipment alignment, replacement motors, pickup and delivery fees, mileage rates, and installation and alignment fees. All hourly rates must include labor, materials, equipment (owned or rented), overtime, transportation, hand tools, overhead, and profit. The City reserves the right to furnish equipment and supplies for individual projects and may solicit quotes from multiple vendors prior to project assignment.
