About this file

This is a Proposal Submission Form for Project 269.2026.183 submitted to an unnamed City in North Carolina for pump and motor repair services. The City maintains approximately 180 buildings across various departments, including offices, fire stations, police division offices, equipment shops, and cultural facilities such as museums and arenas. Services may be requested by multiple City departments, the Airport, and the Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS). The requested services include pump and motor repair for alternating current (AC) three-phase low voltage motors rated at 600 volts or less, including close-coupled pump units. The City reserves the right to prepare individual Scopes of Work for each project and may solicit quotes from one or more companies prior to task order assignment. Individual task orders are not anticipated to exceed $50,000 each. The proposal must remain valid for 180 calendar days from the proposal due date.

The form requires proposers to certify that all information submitted is true, accurate, and complete, and that no discriminatory practices were engaged in during the solicitation or selection of subcontractors and suppliers. Proposers must maintain documentation demonstrating non-discriminatory practices and provide a list of any discrimination complaints or legal proceedings filed against the company within the past ten years, including resolution status and remedial actions taken. The proposal must confirm that no owners, employees, directors, or contractors will violate the City's Conflict of Interest Policy. The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, make partial awards, waive formalities and technicalities, and resolicit the RFP at its discretion.

1. In preparing its Proposal, the Company has considered all proposals submitted from qualified, potential subcontractors and suppliers, and has not engaged in or condoned prohibited discrimination.

2. For purposes of this Section, discrimination means discrimination in the solicitation, selection, or treatment of any subcontractor, vendor or supplier on the basis of race, ethnicity, gender, age or disability or any otherwise unlawful form of discrimination. Without limiting the foregoing, discrimination also includes retaliating against any person or other entity for reporting any incident of discrimination.

This Proposal includes all information necessary to ensure that the statements therein do not in whole or in part mislead the City as to any material facts.

7. None of Company’s or its subcontractors’ owners, employees, directors, or contractors will be in violation of the City’s Conflict of Interest Policy for City, Secondary and Other Employment Relationships (HR 13) if a Contract is awarded to the Company.
