About this file
This document contains questions and responses related to Request for Proposal 80GSFC20R0010 for the Solar Wind Plasma Sensor (SWiPS) Space Weather Follow-On program. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration Goddard Space Flight Center plans to issue an RFP for the SWiPS instrument, which will measure ion flux and mass as part of the SWFO-L1 satellite mission. The SWFO-L1 Observatory will provide the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration with continuity of solar wind and coronal mass ejection data to support space weather forecasting, which is their highest priority for space observations. Responses clarify that an additional hardcopy of the cost volume for audit purposes should be separately packaged and labeled, and confirm the SPEC Compliance Matrix is excluded from the 45-page limit for the Mission Suitability Volume.

SOLAR WIND PLASMA SENSOR (SWiPS) SPACE WEATHER FOLLOW-ON
Questions and Responses
Question 1:
RFP Reference:
RFP Section L.8(a)(2)
Comment or Question:
Regarding the number of hardcopies for each Volume, on page 77 of the
"SWiPS_RFP_80GSFC20R0010_Sections_B_through_M_10-31-19” document it says:
(2) Prime Offerors and proposed Significant Subcontractors for Cost Volume proposal purposes
(defined as set forth in the Cost Volume Instructions in Section L of this RFP) shall include one (1) additional separately packaged hardcopy of their Cost Volume proposal, marked “Enter correct RFP number/NASA Proposal Evaluation Material,” which the Government may use for audit support purposes.
Is this additional hardcopy for audit purposes supposed to be in a separate package?( i.e. shipping two packages) Or, is it just a copy in binder that is marked as “80GSFC20R0010/NASA Proposal Evaluation
Material”?
