To establish and implement a Monthly Maintenance Plan to provide forecasted maintenance and other key requirements in support of Aircraft Operations Division three-tier aircraft maintenance program.

8. Preparation Information (Include complete instructions for document preparation)
a. Scope:
To establish and implement a Monthly Maintenance Plan
b. Content:
The Contractor shall:
Produce a monthly maintenance plan that will be utilized by management and supervisory personnel to keep abreast of projected aircraft maintenance and other key requirements in support of NASA AFRC Aircraft Operations three-tier aircraft maintenance program. The plan shall include the following minimum requirements:
1. Projected flight hours by type/model/series aircraft
2. Projected deployments by type/model/series aircraft
3. Scheduled and forecasted calendar and hourly aircraft and engine inspections for the month. Format shall include:
a) Specific aircraft tail number and engine and support equipment serial number
b) Serial number of specific item
c) Nomenclature of end item due inspection
d) Inspection type
e) Current aircraft and engine time
f) Inspection due time or date
g) Inspection time remaining
4. Projected aircraft life limited components (LLC) due time change force removal for the month. Format shall include:
a) Specific aircraft tail number
b) Serial number of specific LLC item
c) Part number of specific LLC item
d) Nomenclature of LLC
e) Date or time due
f) Time remaining on reported LLC
5. Technical directives (Aircraft Change Directives) forecasted for accomplishment during the month. Format shall include:
a) Specific aircraft tail number
b) Technical directive number
c) Title or description of ACD
d) Technical directive install no later than date
6. Calibration equipment due for calibration during the month. Format shall include:
a) Nomenclature
b) Serial number of specific item
c) Calibration identification number
d) Due date

7. Projected personnel general and certification training for the month. Format shall include:
a) Name of individual
b) Type Training (General or Certification)
c) Title or description of training
d) Projected training date
e) Location of training
f) If certification training, identify impacts on individual supporting mission requirements
8. Personnel overdue general or certification training. Format shall include:
a) Name of individual
b) Type training overdue (General or Certification)
c) Title or description of training
d) Original scheduled training date
9. Provide previous month’s Trend Analysis data to include matrix charts for the following:
a) Repeat discrepancies
b) Recurring discrepancies
c) High failure rate components
d) High usage materials
e) Process failures
c. Format:
Contractor’s format is acceptable.
d. Distribution:
1. 210/ Contracting Officer (Electronic distribution in Microsoft Office or PDF format.)
2. 400/ Contracting Officer’s Technical Representative (Electronic distribution in Microsoft Office or PDF format.)
e. Submission:
1. Initial: Contract start + 1 month.
2. Final: Contract start + 3 months.
3. Frequency: By the 25th of each month for the forthcoming month.
f. Maintenance:
Revisions to this DRD shall be incorporated by change page or complete reissue.
