signage necessary to identify any hazards. Provide signage to identify accessible routes in each structure.

Nurse call is not required.

IBC 503.1.2 allows two or more buildings on the same lot to be considered portions of one building;

therefore as long as the total square feet (sf) of the temporary buildings does not exceed 15,750 sf neither a fire sprinkler nor rated walls between the temporary buildings is required. In addition the placed listed as required for fire sprinklers in IBC

903.2 don’t apply, including a medical gas closet because a portable medical gas will be used in the Dental Structure. Therefore a medical gas closet with an associated fire sprinkler head is not required. See Attachment IBC 503.1.2 Buildings on same lot.

The locations requiring fire alarm and detection systems in 907.2 don’t apply. A group B occupancy only requires fire alarm when occupant loads are greater than 500 (the larger main building has an occupant load of 179) or if it is over 100 occupants on other than the main level, or is an ambulatory care facility; none of which apply to the temporary buildings for this project. I am wondering when we move the clinic into the portable buildings we are planning to move the fixtures, furnishings and equipment. However, there are a lot of supplies as well. Will the government be moving those or do we need to plan for that. These supplies include:

Maintenance Shop supplies Pharmaceuticals Medical supplies Eyecare supplies Lockers Refrigerators Artwork/wall hangings.

Per Specification Sections 024119 and 015000.10, Contractor is responsible for moving all items except personal items and office supplies. Lockers, refrigerators, artwork/wall hangings would be included in contractor workload. Pharmaceutical and office supplies listed here would be the Owner’s responsibility for packing for relocation. Note that while the staff will be responsible for boxing up their department supplies, the Contractor will move the boxes, and then the staff will un‐box them. See also Specifications Appendix B for additional information on movement of FFE and equipment during project.
