About this file

This is a Master RFI Log, which is a compilation of Requests for Information (RFIs) submitted by vendors and the Government's responses to those inquiries. The document serves as an appendix providing clarification and guidance to potential quoters on the solicitation requirements, technical specifications, and procedural matters related to the roof repair and replacement project at FLETC in Charleston, South Carolina. While the specific RFI questions and answers are not detailed in the provided excerpt, this log is an essential reference document that addresses vendor questions received prior to the RFI response deadline of August 28, 2026. The Government notes that only timely-submitted RFIs received Government responses, as a large quantity of inquiries were submitted during the RFI window.

This file is a supporting attachment to Solicitation Number 70LCHS26QPFB00034, a Total Small Business Set-Aside RFQ issued under FAR Part 12 for roofing contractors (NAICS 238160). The solicitation seeks multiple roof repairs and/or replacements at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, with award to be made on a Firm-Fixed Price basis using a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable evaluation method. The Master RFI Log was included with Amendment 0002 to provide all quoters with collective clarifications on solicitation requirements and expectations.

28Deck replacement allowance is 10%; excess is a credit. What is the unit for measurement and credit (SF of metal deck, type/gauge), and how is the credit calculated?Deckallowance does vary a little bit by roof so check the SOW, unit of measurement is square feet.
