About this file

This is an Ozone Depletion Letter from the Department of the Air Force's 75th Civil Engineer Squadron at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, dated 3 December 2025. The memorandum confirms that the Abatement IDIQ contract, which covers work at Hill AFB, Little Mountain Test Annex, and Utah Test and Training Range, does not require the use of Class I ozone depleting substances (ODS) as identified in Air Force policy. The project manager, Taylor Brimberry (WS-10, DAF), has reviewed all available technical documentation and project requirements and determined that the contract work can be performed without relying on Class I ODS and is not structured to mandate their use. This statement is issued in accordance with DFARS 223.803 and is addressed to OL_H/PZIOC.

MEMORANDUM FOR OL_H/PZIOC

FROM: 75CES/CEOERM

SUBJECT: Ozone Depletion Letter

1. PROJECT NUMBER: Abatement IDIQ. WORK ORDER NUMBER: Multi.

2. PROJECT TITLE: Abatement IDIQ at Hill AFB, Little Mountain Test Annex, and Utah Test and Training Range.

3. OZONE STATEMENT: In accordance with DFARS 223.803, I have reviewed the Abatement IDIQ project requirements, including available technical documentation, and believe that it does not require the contractor to use Class I ozone depleting substances (ODS) identified in Air Force policy, nor is it written so that it can only be met by the use of Class I ODS."
