Questions Answers

We are a precast manufacture that will be bidding on the box culverts shown on the Martinez Lake & Red Cloud project over in Yuma, Az. After reviewing project, I noticed there’s some Corrugated Metal Pipe and End Section. Will DOT allow Reinforced Concrete Pipe in lieu of the Corrugated Metal?

The pipe culvert requirements will be as called out on the project plans. If the contractor desires to use reinforced concrete pipe, they should reference FP Section 103.03 Value Engineering.
