This document is a Solicitation Questions Form for FAA Solicitation 6973GH-25-R-00167, which aims to establish a Qualified Vendors List (QVL) for construction services on Unstaffed Infrastructure Sustainment (UIS) facilities. The QVL covers construction services in Western, Central, and Eastern service areas, with a contract ceiling of $500M over 5 years. Vendors can apply for specific service areas based on their manufacturing facilities, and each shelter will be a separate contract with varying design requirements.
Key details include: questions must be submitted to Janice Hammonds by 5:00 pm CST on August 15, 2025; the Western Service Area includes MT, WY, NE, KS, CO, NM, AZ, AK, HI, and Pacific territories; future Request for Quotes (RFQs) will be issued outside of SAM.gov using QVL contacts; and each shelter contract will have individual performance periods and design specifications. The FAA indicates that annual spending will depend on project approvals and funding, with no predetermined standard shelter sizes or annual release awards.
