About this file

This document is a Response to Request for Information (RFI) for Solicitation Number 6973GH-25-R-00121, issued by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for Static Transfer Switches (STS) at National Airspace Systems (NAS) facilities. The solicitation seeks Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) equipment to provide power source selection for critical equipment, with multiple Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs) covering equipment, delivery, installation, and support services. Key pricing terms include a guaranteed minimum quantity of $5,000 per contract and a maximum task order value of $4,000,000, with the base period spanning 24 months and options for additional periods.

The RFI document addresses numerous technical and procedural questions about the procurement, including equipment specifications, installation requirements, and proposal submission guidelines. Significant details include clarifications on STS equipment dimensions, enclosure configurations, installation expectations, and compliance with Buy American Act requirements. The solicitation covers various service CLINs such as STS delivery, installation services, computer-based training, engineering support for Contractor Depot Level Support (CDLS), and requires contractors to provide comprehensive documentation, logistics support, maintenance training, and spare parts provisioning for the Static Transfer Switches.
