RE: MT DOT 569(3)
North of Moose Creek North Solicitation No. 69056718B000024
The attached preliminary plans are being furnished to aid prospective Bidders in identifying the location and type of work for this project. The project will be advertised during a period when viewing of the project may not be possible due to snow. Therefore, prospective Offerors are encouraged to view the project during fall as conditions permit. After November 1st, access will be weather dependent; contact the Montana Department of Transportation for current road conditions at https://www.mdt.mt.gov/travinfo/. No Federal Highway Administration personnel will be available for show-me tours.
Project Location and Type of Work - All project work is located in Deer Lodge County, Montana.

General Questions - Contact our office at wfl.contracts@dot.gov or at 360-619-7520.
Special Notice - Fall Weed Inspection May be Necessary
The upcoming contract will require all material sources and materials incorporated into the work must be certified to be free from noxious weeds, invasive plants, and other deleterious materials by a federal, state or local public agency. Commercial certifications may be acceptable if materials have been certified through the North American Weed Free Forage Program standard or a similarly recognized certification process approved by the CO. To determine if a source is acceptable, contractors must arrange for a weed inspection this Fall.
Solicitation documents - Documents will be available during the winter of 2018/2019. Please monitor the FedBizOpps (FBO) site for actual date of solicitation release (www.fbo.gov). To receive automatic notification through FBO, select the “Watch this opportunity” feature and follow the steps as indicated.
Thank you for your interest in this project.
