About this file

The document is a standard federal contracting form (52.225-2 Buy American Certificate) from the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) dated October 2022. The certificate requires offerors to certify the domestic or foreign status of end products, with specific requirements for identifying:

  1. Domestic end products, including those with critical components
  2. Foreign end products, listing their country of origin and whether they exceed 55% domestic content
  3. Commercially available off-the-shelf (COTS) items

The form provides a template for vendors to disclose the origin and domestic content of products being proposed, allowing the government to evaluate offers according to Buy American policies. Offerors must carefully document each product's origin, critical components, and domestic content percentage to comply with federal procurement regulations.
