About this file
This document is a Request for Proposal (RFP) evaluation scoresheet for the Salt Lake City School District (SLCSD) for a School Attendance Management & Family Engagement system, with the solicitation number TB2626-AS. The RFP seeks a comprehensive software solution that includes features such as two-way text messaging, teacher alerts with context, AI-powered family support, language access, robust user training, and integration with current district systems. The evaluation process involves a technical scoring methodology with multiple scoreable criteria including company experience, approach to work, implementation plan, references, and value-added services, with points allocated across different technical and functional aspects of the proposed solution.
The pricing evaluation will be conducted on a comparative basis, with the lowest-priced vendor receiving the full 300 available price points, and other vendors receiving a proportional allocation based on a specific formula. The total possible evaluation points are 1,000, with 70% (700 points) dedicated to technical evaluation and 30% (300 points) to pricing. The scoring is nuanced, using a 0-10 scale with specific descriptors for each score level, ranging from "Fail" (0) to "Excellent" (10). A minimum technical point threshold of 70% (490 points) must be met for a proposal to be considered responsive, though in this particular scoresheet, no points have been entered, suggesting this is a template or draft document for the evaluation process.
