About this file
This is an addendum to a Request for Proposals issued by Salt Lake City Corporation's Department of Airports for compliance audit services related to the Airport Redevelopment Plan terminal construction program at Salt Lake City International Airport. The addendum addresses two key questions received during the proposal process regarding firm restrictions and use of technology in audit work.
The addendum clarifies that selected firms will not be precluded from pursuing or performing other work for the Department of Airports or Salt Lake City Corporation during the contract term, nor will such restrictions extend to work performed as subconsultants on other firms' contracts. Additionally, the City permits the use of AI-enabled tools such as automated data analysis, document review, and workflow automation in performing the audit work, provided that all Department data remains within secure, firm-controlled environments. The City has established data governance and confidentiality requirements that will be included in the agreement draft, and the Information Management System Department will verify following the selection process that data handling terms are consistent with City policy, including review of any AI-enabled tools to be utilized.
